McBride said Ty Robinson and Nash should be on the offensive line. I have to say I agree with him especially after watching how slow Robinson was again this past weekend.

Robinson shouldn't a be an offensive linemen. He should be playing at roughly 275. Kid would be a much better player as a 3-4 DE at 6'6 275.

Casey Rogers was right to leave when Nebraska wanted to make him even bigger and play inside.

I mean think about it....

Mickey is an alpha competitor... Do you think it is going to be easy for him to transition back to being just a WR coach? Do you think it is possible for friction to be there? Have you ever been passed up for a job by somebody you viewed as unqualified? How did it feel?

I am not as absolute as Teen Tweeter is on this. I think it really depends on who is hired as the HC, but I don't think it is as easy as "oh yeah Mickey will just step in as WR coach and they all live happily ever after...."

I think the way that gives us the best chance of retaining Mickey is to have the remaining part of the season blow up in his face. Or Turd hire a high quality HC.

I want Mickey here 100%.. I just think that transition back to being just the WR/AHC has some hurdles to it. This is where I differ from Teen Tweeter who "doesn't want Mickey." I more question about how willing he will be to fall back in line. There are coaches who have done it.... See Jim's post here....

I’ve never seen anything that made me think he was very good either way. Rogers was always a lot better, but he was always hurt. Robinson was all hype. He would have been processed at the other top schools on his list.
