USFL starts TONIGHT

Looking forward to catching this game. They have some interesting changes/gimmicks they are bringing to the game.

Helmet cam, huddle cam/audio, halftime locker room, chipped football for official yardage placement, and topless cheerleaders.

Should be great.

I'd love to see this or XFL (or both) stick around. Unfortunately I just don't sew it happening. So much of football hinges on good QB play and there's not even enough good QBs out there for the 32 NFL teams, let alone 2 whole other leagues.

How many times have these “minor leagues” tried? They’ve failed every time. This will do the same.

I really enjoyed the last go round of xfl. Had Covid not hit it would have stuck.

The next iteration of xfl coming next year finally got it right and is partnering with the nfl. I foresee it sticking around.

I like the break in football. No real desire to watch minor league football in the spring

Spring leagues are great for guys who are trying to catch on with NFL teams. I don't know that I need the USFL and the XFL, but one hanging in for a while would give lots of guys opportunities

if the nfl could make some kind of minor league spring league that's faster and funner to watch, like another arena football league, then i think it could work. put all of the teams in non-nfl cities, keep the rosters small, lots of helmet cams, turn it into a netflix series or something

maybe they could let fans buy shares of the team

Mike Riley defense sucks

Must have Diaco as his DC
