Breaking USC & UCLAbia Joining BIG 10

What does Mets have to do with Opera? Y'all equating Mets with Opera might have to turn in your man cards

Sip also said it’s way more likely that Kansas joins over Stanford. He clearly doesn’t know what he is talking about with that comment and is just being biased.

Notre Dame, USC, UCLAbia, Michigan, Northwestern, Purdoodoo and the presidents who only care about academics will easily vote Stanford over Kansas.

Sippletons don’t realize the academic research dollars that Stanford brings in, it dwarfs Kansas’s basketball accomplishments. Now I do believe the B1G will NOT bring in multiple higher learning institutes with terrible athletics (cough cough Cal) plus Cal has been looking for a reason to get rid of even more sports.

Not to mention the academic side of things. You want Notre Dame…you bring Stanford.

Also Phil Knight already knows his chances of getting into the B1G are on the low side, that’s why the other day he was saying how he “preferred” to be apart of the SEC…he’s on the outside looking in.

Our future schedule is interesting but....

Whoever joins doesn't really matter all that much....

Because if Nebraska can't get back to beating Illinois, Purdoodoo and NW regularly then nothing else matters.

I'm serious, if we would have beaten Michigan last year but still had the losses to Purdoodoo and Illinois would you feel good about the year?

I'm not gonna worry about having to possibly play USC in 2024 when I'm already worried about Frost totally blowing it against NW this year, in the opener, in Dublin, a week before everyone else plays, while the whole country is watching. We will undoubtedly be a heavy favorite, but are any of you willing to put money on Nebraska while giving points?

Ok, I kind of feel better. Not really, but I tried to get it off my chest so there's that.

5-7 at best this year IMO, Casey isn’t healed 💯. The line looks worse then last year, defense needs to replace many starters, so it will take some time for them to get to Chin’s level.

At least 6-6 or bust.

  • Casey can win close games - see Texas. He needs to stay healthy.
  • WRs and RBs should be way better
  • OL cannot get worse than last year. Having zero downfield passing threat limited our admittedly shitty OL w.r.t. run blocking. That should change this year with Martinez out.
  • DL is a concern here but hopefully with some new bodies it can hold pat.
  • LBs looks to be even better than last year.
  • DBs should be better minus replacing Cam. So excited to see safeties other those two yahoos that we had for the past 50 years.

Don't forget about special teams. The last few years have made me hesitant to say "_____ can't get worse" but I honestly think it's true for special teams. Last year's special teams were historically bad.

Very weird.

Think about how USC/UCLAbia joined the B1G. No peep til one of the most trusted writers out west broke it to Twitter.

As for ND. My opinion is their whole "independent" mantra has been very alumni/football/booster driven. If/when that "independent" mindset changes with the new superconferences/NIL/bullshit, they will hop to a conference.
I feel like I remember some rumblings about USC in the summer of 2021 and then it went completely silent until the day it was quickly announced.
