Breaking USC & UCLA Joining BIG 10

Want the Pac-12 to survive? You can’t lose Oregon and Washington. The Ducks and Huskies are consistently top-25 revenue generators in college athletics. They’re potential foundations of a conference and as (stabilizing) building blocks are definitely more attractive than anything the Big 12 has to offer.

They'll be rather attractive to the rest of college football, too. The Big Ten seems like a natural partner, adding to its West Coast wing. The Big 12 would be smart to go hard after the pair along with Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Utah. The ACC is in need of inventory. In this crazy environment, who cares if it's the Pacific coast instead of the Atlantic?

Oregon and Washington, perhaps along with Stanford, control the fate of the Pac-12 moving forward. If they leave, the whole thing comes crumbling down.

So say the B1G and SEC each get to 24 teams. How we doing the playoffs? Stick with the 4 teams, winner of each plays the runner-up of each and then a championship game?

I feel like TCU Alums are like 5th fiddle in the DFW area. It’s just anecdotal, but I’d say:

Texas/Texas A&M
Baylor
SMU
TCU/Tech

But I might be biased because I live on the Dallas side.
This is correct.

Tech > TCU probably. I mean you think about people like the Double Eagle guys right there in Fort Worth giving Texas Tech multimillion dollar donations.

2 things:

2. I’m all for it. Gimme USC and Wisconsin in November and watch power football whip that bitch back to LA

2. The IRONY of Oregon joining the Big 10 and Scott Frost possibly coaching against his old team where he learned the offense that has made us look comical since he arrived.

This is entertaining as shit. Oh and I hope Stanford joins and Frost has to coach against them. Circle of life

If the B1G switches to the 3-6 format Nebraska will mostly play Cockeye, USC and UCLA every year as of right now.

Are these 2 still saying millions will die because the SEC played football during covid?

Texas and Texas A&M are off the table and I doubt the Big 10 would ever consider SMU or Texas Tech.

So it's either Baylor or TCU.

Baylor has more cache in DFW, IMO. I’d rather have them. I’d be interested to see DFW TV ratings the last few years for Baylor and TCU.
