Updated Scholarship Chart heading into final recruiting weekend for '22

Here is the unofficial scholarship chart showing that we have (89) current scholarships distributed. That number will obviously have to come down. It's the last weekend and I don't think we are hosting any more '22 scholarship offer guys or potential transfers that I know of yet. (maybe they have some possible '22 walkon guys come have a look around unofficially)
We apparently are still hot after '22 HS RB Ajay Allen and he could be added to our list.
We will have a nice contingent of '23 targets in Lincoln this weekend for another junior day.

I removed K Tim Bleekrode and added him below the listed known schollies along with RB Deondre Jackson as they are rumored to be arriving in May or summer.

With everyone they added I was surprised they were only at 89 or a possible 90-91 with Timmy and Jackson or Ajay Allen. I don't know if many saw it, but the NCAA made a one-time ruling this year to help teams recover from the transfer portal. It basically said however many players a team had in the portal on the early signing day (Dec 15th) you could add that many back to the roster. Nebraska had 7 including Payne at the time, so Nebraska can theoretically take up to 32 players (25 plus the 7) this cycle (Nebraska is currently at 27 with Deondre Jackson), but they will have to be back at 85 total before the fall like normal.

DT and D end are somewhat interchangeable

They have 6 DEs, so some of those guys could help out at DT. That has been one of the few disappointments so far from the portal this cycle is they have not been able to pick up another true DT.

Generally speaking there's 3 dlineman on the field. Some combination of DT and D ends. Typically 2 d ends and a DT. Some listed at d end can play DT and vice versa. There's 10 between the 2. That's probably still a little light but not too crazy.
