He's their leading rusher by a significant margin, and looks like his value is running a spread rushing attack. 100k is pretty cheap for a QB -P5 averages are somewhere around 500k depending on which source you look at. IDK if he's getting competing offers, but probably a number of G5 or run-heavy lower tier P5 teams that would be happy to pay a similar amount for him if UNLV isn't following through.

I meant, players in general deciding to hold themselves out to save eligibility, and later, enter the portal over financial disputes, real or perceived. Once one player does it, if there are no consequences, another player will do it, and then another. These won’t be highly paid players, they may leave but that will more likely be to tampering. It is the not so highly paid players that play key roles on the team you don’t want to lose.I don't see him being able to do it to more than one team.
