I'd agree. I think Martinez had an overall better tool box to work with, but Tommy had a winning presence about him.

I think when you evaluate both players strengths and weaknesses, you'd have to have literal brain damage to believe any year long starting QB over the last ~75 years of Nebraska football would have put up fewer wins than Martinez

Does this factor in Frost/Verduzco/Lubes/Walters? I'd think that had Tommy or any other NU QB been subject to that clusterfuck of coaches for four years we would probably have a different opinion of them.
