Murderer’s Row

>> With Corcoran out, the first-team offensive line included left tackle Teddy Prochazka, left guard Brant Banks, center Trent Hixson, right guard Broc Bando and right tackle Bryce Benhart.
You forgot to mention the amazing second-string depth, one player out already down to the walk-ons.

>> The second-team offensive line included left tackle Kevin Williams Jr., walk-on Noah Stafursky (a former York Duke), center Ethan Piper, right guard Henry Lutovsky and right tackle Hunter Anthony.

Remind me to really thank that German kid for juicing. Looking like a great decision that really helped the team.....🙄🙄🙄

Where's Ezra Miller former 4 star from Cockeye? Does this kid have so many screws loose that he's not able to crack the 2 deep of this motley crew (not the good ones) of an OL.

Wonder how precautionary, if at all, it is. Hopefully it’s just keeping him out since we so desperately need him but who knows

If Nash is a bust at DT like we’ve been hearing, we’re really going to regret not having him at OG from day 1. His high school film screamed OL
Short arms & poor lateral movement screams OL?

I think he’s where he should be. A hole plugger

Odd they say he’s doesn’t move well considering his prowess as a wrestler.

Something isnt adding up

I also think he is an OG and we are playing him at OT. That and coupled with being a 4* is a death sentence practically.

Why is it so hard to find OT's?
The combination of size and athletic ability we need for good pass pro at OT is tough to find. That is the reason why moving to a more run orientated playbook would help us. Bo basically had a team full of OGs and put the most athletic ones at OT. They got away with it because they had Helu, Rex, Ameer, etc.... and were able to have a heavier run playbook.

JMO, We have found some guys who have good length, but have lacked in the footspeed department. That is what makes Teddy so valuable is his size and ability to move. I am very curious on Benhart.... I thought most of his problems seemed mental. If he gets it fixed we can have our OTs for the next couple of years.

Once you start losing athletic ability you need to move inside where that wont be exposed as easily.

I know with what little we saw vs Fordham for Ezra I wanted to see more. Him and Nouili working together looked good. Now it was a beat down bad team, but I wanted to see more of Nouili and Ezra after that game.

I agree. Seemed like Nouilli & Miller looked like 2 of our better linemen in their limited early season playing time. Also heard rumors that both looked like some of our better linemen in practice, even though they weren't playing. Once we got the big German on the field he proved to the coaches he was probably our best lineman not named Cam.

It seems as if over half of our O Line recruits will rarely see many meaningful snaps. Still holding out the big ole Henry will man one of the Guard positions but appears he isn't quite ready. Get him meshing with fellow young pups Teddy, Corc & Benhart would give us 4 quality big uglies to man the line for the next few years. Then just need to find a good Center and if they play up to their potential we could have the best O Line talent since Bill Callahan brought in those highly rated Hosses.

Yeah Luto isn't ready.

I had Nouili as Austin's 6th option at LG... Fucking Nuts

Didn’t the defensive coaching staff say we will be in more 4 man fronts this year? I hear ya on him being a NT but the insidehers said we were moving away from that? Isn’t that why TyRob moved inside?

Wrestling (especially HWT) is all about leverage and strength, are those not good quality’s for an OG to have? Cockeyes has 6’3 stubby former state champ wrestlers on their interior O-Line every year, seems to work for them.

Wrestling happens in a 20 foot radius circle, it’s a maulers sport. Nash just had to get his big paws on guys. He didn’t have to run them down. If he wants to play at the next level, it aint gonna happen on defense.
