For the record there was a decent number of us that knew frost was a giant tool bag before he got hired here when his name popped up for the job when Mike Riley was hired. Just because of interactions around Nebraska he’s had over the years. Then some of us (me) decided to shove that knowledge deep behind my cold black soul and ignored it in hopes he’d be a good football corch.

Yes, anyone that knew Frost in HS or when he was at NU was aware that he was a dick. Many times great athletes can be dicks but they get a pass because of their ability to win. Even when he played at NU, he had a small circle of friends but NU won a national title so no one cared that he was a prick.

Frost's demise as a HC is directly related to his personality shortcomings. He's got zero emotional intelligence and you can no longer be a dickhead when you aren't winning.

I wanted him to succeed since he was NU's HC but at the same time I didn't feel bad for the guy personally when he bombed.

I feel like this was pretty evident after hearing about how he would blow off former players that were Callahan guys. Doesn’t really matter who was the coach those guys are still alumni wanting to support the university.

I remember getting roasted on RSS when his name came up while he was the OC at Oregon when I said, “I mean count me out, zero HC experience and the dude is a grade A douche bag.” But there was a decent amount of people coming to my defense.

There was just no reasonable argument against it after what he did at UCF though.

Plus, he came off as such a good dude at UCF, I honestly wondered if he’d grown up with marriage and having a kid and was a different guy now. Doesn’t appear so

He caught lightning in a bottle at Central Florida thanks to talent already there and the sheer amount of talent that FL has. His vices had been known well from several years before then with 2 am sightings at casinos and bars besides chasing skirts. I was willing to give him a chance 5 years ago in the event he had indeed kicked aside his habits but obviously he hadn’t.

Btw I don’t know how I didn’t even consider the part about Volleyball just getting a big NIL agreement and they’ll basically be making 6 figures with no expenses until they graduate.

JFC, why wouldn’t those whiny babies just order Uber eats from the Green Gateau? Their whining is such a bad look the more I think about it.

NU VB think they are big and famous like the US women's soccer team....so they feel they have to be social justice warriors too.

This is why they walked up to the FB training table, didn't ask any questions, and just went right to twitter to complain about the injustice. Then they find out after that there was no injustice at all.

Apparently Krause tweeted something as well - then deleted it.

It should be a lesson, but it probably won't be.
