UGA Dawgs in the Corn

CornDawg
IDGAF - I am just here to stomp on this boards collective feelings. I am also here for the post Dillon Raviolii meltdown when he stinks it up.
So you guys can flame away.
Welcome to the board! Really impressed you got past that little test we give before you log in, where you click on all of the little pictures with bicycles or cars. Top 10th percentile stuff for a southerner.

With the season right around the corner I thought I'd create a safe space to bark in folk's faces. A thread for CornDawgs and Dawgs to discuss the jewel of the South, the Giant of Athens, the Silver britches junkyard Dawgs.

2024 UGA schedule; H home and A away. Spaces are Bye weeks
Aug. 31st Vs Clemson (Neutral site)
Sep. 7th Vs TN Tech (H)
Sep. 14th Vs Kentucky (A)

Sep. 28th Vs Bama (A)
Oct. 5th Vs Auburn (H) note this is UGA's Homecoming
Oct. 12th Vs Miss. State (H)
Oct. 19th Vs Texas (A)

Nov. 2nd Vs Florida Turds (Neutral site)
Nov. 9th Vs Ole Miss (A)
Nov. 16th Vs TN (H)
Nov. 23rd Vs UMass (H)
Nov 29th Vs Nerds from Ga Tech (H and played on Friday)

This will be a tough schedule and I'm looking forward to it. Hard to imagine going through this undefeated, but of course that's my prediction. TX game worries me the most, but playing Bama in T Town or Ole Miss in Oxford following the Florida game will be difficult as well.
UGA has been beaten up pretty bad from Fall Camp each of the last 3 years, and I'm hoping this year will be an exception to that.

On Offense we have returning QB Carson Beck, maybe the deepest RB room of Kirby Smart era, loaded WR room, and TE room deep with talent as well. Offensive line looks to be a monster and will impose themselves against most DLs they face in regular season.

The Defense will hopefully have a stouter Line this year, and the Secondary is talented but can't afford too much injury there.

The UGA coaching staff has mostly been stable, and only major change is Co-DC Muschamp left the position and replaced by Travaris Robinson who is a Muschamp protege. Glenn Schumann remains the other Co-DC and this will be his 9th season working for Kirby at UGA.

There have been no speeding or reckless driving charges for the last few weeks, so I'm taking as a sign of great things to come going for a 3rd Natiol Championship in 4 years.

Finally, I leave you with the greatest fight song known to man, Dawgs, and Muppets.

Andy Staples yesterday talking with Georgia's Sean Callahan Wannabe...I thought this was interesting - the local site guy there talked about how Kirby loves having a tough opener because it gives them something to work toward and "peak" for out of fall camp. All spring, summer, and fall, they are working toward peaking for that big time opponent.

I guess last year when they opened with two cupcakes, Kirby ran the hardest camp since he's been there just to feel like they were getting something accomplished and prepared for the later tough schedule. Very interesting to me.

I mean with this with all due respect and love for ya Dawg - but Fuck right off with that rich get richer bullshit.

You’re new here, so I’ll let you in on a few facts about Nebraska. We’re not from the south, so we don’t fuck our sisters like you guys do in the south. Additionally, we treat people with respect.

You are weak willed, trying to hard

You will falter

I knew I would like this guy.

You'll be sorely disappointed on Raiola btw. Probably cry over 60 times this fall. One for every TD he throws.

I heard that to pass an SAT in Georgia you need to SAT on your hands and count to 10!!!!!! And now with latest advancements in education they are thinking about making you wear shoes while doing it!

Hostile projection is treatable. Go ahead and look that up for your own self care. After that, sit down for a while and come up with something original to bring to this conversation.

You guys have a better sense of humor than my primary board. It’s dead serious over there with strict rules. I mean there are actually snowflakes over there who down vote anything not sugar coated.

I mean it's pretty tough not being negative when we haven't been to a bowl in 8 years. Little different in your situation.

But yeah overall people on this board don't take themselves too seriously. I mean there's a porn section here. Our autocorrects actually go to swear words.

You either develop a sense of humor to deal with the last 20 years of Husker Football or you perish in a constant deluge of incomprehensible suffering.

Not true.

We have tasteful conversations here, nothing gay or

If Georgia comes to Lincoln for the first round of the playoffs this year, how much will Nebraska win by and will DR15 thrown for over 500 yards?

Obviously Georgina won’t be able to handle the cold

Last year was supposed to start with Oklahoma until the League office canceled that. Kind of messed up the season schedule wise and 1 loss killed the run. As a fan all of these scheduled games he has made happen is awesome. Goes deep into 2030s. USC and Riley just cancelled our upcoming series which sucks, but that Coach is opposite Kirby and doesn't want added difficulties to his new B1G schedule.
