Talked to a friend tonight who is a big UCLA fan. He says they are definitely interested in White.

He is terrified they will hire David Shaw.

Said if Chip had quit after USC game, they could have hired Jedd Fisch.

Weird curveball he has heard of is that Carroll is interested. Would probably be good for them for him to do it 2-3 years and set them up with a professional recruiting operation.

Pete Carroll has the mental and physical energy to give them a good few years. I just question if he'd want to go back down to CFB. If he wants to remain a HC, that is his outlet.

He'd be a good choice if they took him on. Knows how to recruit, assemble a staff, and coach the brand of football that would fit in the B10.
