I just can't get past the fact that everything was good enough 4 months ago for him to "commit" the next 8 years of his life to this place.
Whatever he didn't like, he didn't give it an opportunity to get solved, unless we think that big universities can change course in a maximum of 4 months to please an AD.
I'm sorry he didn't like his "boss." But it turns out he's an incredibly shitty boss himself. He completely surprised his own staff, he stuck around for all of one football season for his most important hire, and he left a gigantic vacuum that everyone who worked for him and believed in him will now be left to try to fill. People he hired are going to have to find new jobs after a maximum of 2-1/2 years with him, despite his repeated public statements he was in it for the long haul.
That's some sorry ass leadership, and it makes you take any of his complaints about how someone else in authority operated with a ton of salt.
