Or the UNO deal?

I don't know.... He was set to be one of the top 10 highest paid ADs in the country, working for his school, building projects, etc...

Something doesn't smell right. I am asking around to see what is up......
I just don't know how he could leave over a lawsuit or previous money mismanagement, while also getting a huge raise from another huge school... I'm sure A&M did their due diligence and wouldn't hire someone who was on the verge of some kind of trouble.

Is she qualified? (not asking bc she's a woman, but bc I know nothing about her)
Not sure exactly how these jobs would translate since they were all high school related, but she certainly has a lot of athletic administration experience:

"Dr. Susan Elza is in her first season at Nebraska in 2023, serving as the football program’s chief of staff. A longtime respected administrator, Elza leads and coordinates all administrative efforts within the Husker program.

Elza came to Nebraska after more than seven years as the director of athletics for the University Interscholastic League (UIL), the governing body of Texas high school extracurricular activities. She was the top administrator for the athletics division of the UIL, which is the largest inter-school organization of its kind in the world. In her role, Elza oversaw the UIL athletic department and administered athletic activities for member schools.

Previously, Elza served as the executive director of athletics at Northwest Independent School District in Fort Worth. Prior to that, she was an assistant athletic director at Allen Independent School District in Allen, Texas. Elza was also a head softball coach at Garland and Allen."

It's called "falling up" you should try it sometime.

In November 2023, Alberts agreed to an eight-year contract extension with Nebraska, and told KETV's Andy Kendeigh in a one-on-one interviewthat he "didn't want to be anywhere else."

"It was important that it wasn't something that I was pushing is not something that I asked for it, but I am grateful. I love this place. I love the state of Nebraska. I don't want to be anywhere else," Alberts said in November.
