i'm glad we took the risk. he's a great talent and we need guys like him. but dude has been injured since his junior year in high school i think

The issues are 2 things:

1. It's an athlete in society problem. Much longer explanation built into that but it's an athlete in society problem

2. Coaches are able to jump too easily as well and it's too accepted. Contract signings are almost as useless as commitments and LOIs at this point.

I would keep an eye on this dude in the portal. We recruited him heavily out of high school and he has until July 1 to pick somewhere to go.

Sooo … based on those aggregate #’s, a lot of (formerly) Power 5 recruits are dropping down to smaller schools and conferences.

Further proof that recruiting high school kids really is an inexact science.
