Trae Taylor transferring to Millard South

Wonder how much money this kid and his family are getting to move. Assuming house and transportation are paid for

Why is MS not helpful or pro NU?
Not sure, little bit of tension there. Probably stems from the Thomalla thing where Rhule was making him come work out in front of them in Lincoln before offering but a CFP team came up to watch him throw from 100s of miles away. They are right there IMO.

They weren’t right about some of the recruits they wanted us to pursue this year, as several of them didn’t warrant an offer for various reasons.

Aren't their rules if you're here by May 1st, you're eligible for the fall?

NSAA needs to enforce domicile.

We will see an influx of high school seniors, living in Lincoln, training at Nebraska, part-time attending high school, and play for that high school.

Transportation, cars, housing, food, all paid for by Nebraska.

Was the RB going to Illinois not worth an offer?

I miss the days of having 2 RB commits per class, usually a stud and then a project guy. Normally the project guys worked out well for us (Ameer)

He just publicly states he’ll be living in Lincoln but commuting and playing for Millard South? Isnt this what peoples panties were in a bunch about the last couple yrs? Kids playing in districts they don’t live in?

Hilarious for him to just throw that out there given the circumstances surrounding Millard South already lol
I must be out of the loop, what are the rules on this? That seems pretty fucked up.

it’s been a while since I lived in Nebraska back in the early 2000s boundaries were defined by a district not nsaa.
In Lincoln you could attend any Lincoln school you wanted and kids outside Lincoln often transferred into a Lincoln school to play sports.

I’d imagine as long as Millard district is open he can do whatever he wants if Millard will accept him as a student

If he could stretch that out through the 2027 that would work better for NU. 😆
God has been telling us we don't deserve nice things for decades and yet there are those that will not hear Him.
