TPBers in North Carolina?

Wife and I were down last week on Thursday to look at the area. Instantly fell in love with it but yeah....they don't know what a straight road looks like lol.
Yeah I’m surprised we didn’t end up there. We went multiple times to look at houses and check it all out. We loved it. Went to a Duke game too and they won on a buzzer beater so that was a cool experience. I’m also a Panthers fan so I like the Charlotte area

What age are your kids? Mine are 6 & 8. One is at a private and the other at a public, but both good schools. The private school is year round, but my daughter is way far ahead of where my other one was at, at the same time. I'd recommend Clayton over Smithfield for sure. With that said, the area is blowing up so Smithfield will probably get a little better as time passes.
Our daughter is 3, will be 4 in August so mainly trying to find a great daycare to send her to. Kid number 2 will be a thing after we get settled in. My wife and daughter won't actually join me down there until June when the school year in Cockeye is over due to her being on contract.

I guess I never saw your initial reaction to us getting Rhule with you being a Panthers fan lol

They actually have a train you can ride from my area down to Charlotte on Sunday's and it supposedly is a pretty fun time. It doesn't serve drinks on the way back, but sounds pretty cool. I actually like going to Panthers games because the fans aren't total fuckin pricks and wanting to fight people like most other NFL stadiums.

Sounds good. If you ever need any advice on area things let me know. Let me know when you get down here, would be good to meet a fellow Husker. There are a few of us down in the area.

For Day Cares my kids went to:
The Nest: Decently priced (As decently as daycare can be) and had good staff that wasn't a revolving door
The Growing Years: Pricey, but a brand-new facility and a great staff.

Yeah I chose the panthers as a kid in 1997 and have stuck with them. I’ve been to Charlotte for a handful of games and they were all a great time. The most fun I’ve had at one was the 2015 NFC championship

I will pass this onto my wife. and Hell yeah we'll have to get together when I get down there!

Yeah Lincoln would be one destination for us. We’re in Davenport Cockeye and I used to work for Cockeye 80 Truckstop as the operations manager. They also have a Truckstop in Kenly, Kenly 95. I took a job as the facilities director there.
Always a good day when someone decides to stop supporting the Cockeye economy. I personally wont even fuel up in the state if I ever have to drive through. Take my own gas cans and everything. Congrats!

I'm just outside Raleigh (near Garner). The local Husker watch party is at the Buffalo Brothers on Lake Boone Trail.

Thing I didnt like the most was all the trees, could never see the sky.

Having all the trees around is one of my favorite parts. Like I can look out the living room window from where I'm sitting and it's almost nothing but green.

I do remember that as we drove around. It was a lot harder to know where the hell you are when you can’t see anything haha

I like the sky and open spaces. People there always told me that would creep them out. Each their own.
