I recently took a new job in the Raleigh area. Moving my family down there in March and I need some Husker/Drinking buddies in the area. Any one of you degenerates around there at all?

Yeah Lincoln would be one destination for us. We’re in Davenport Cockeye and I used to work for Cockeye 80 Truckstop as the operations manager. They also have a Truckstop in Kenly, Kenly 95. I took a job as the facilities director there.Moved back to Lincoln from Raleigh a few years ago
Don't miss it. Good luck, OP

I do remember that as we drove around. It was a lot harder to know where the hell you are when you can’t see anything hahaNothing wrong with it, was just away from home for 7 years and never felt the same.
Thing I didnt like the most was all the trees, could never see the sky.

It has more to do with the transplant trash moving in from California and Ohio.It does somewhat explain why most in the South are directionally challenged.
In the Clayton area about 25 minutes southeast of Raleigh. We love it here. Have lived all over the US and this is our favorite spot so far.I recently took a new job in the Raleigh area. Wife and I were down last week on Thursday to look at the area. Instantly fell in love with it but yeah....they don't know what a straight road looks like lol.I do remember that as we drove around. It was a lot harder to know where the hell you are when you can’t see anything haha
Were looking at getting a house in either Clayton or Smithfield. My wife is a teacher so we want to make sure we're in the best school district for her and our kids.In the Clayton area about 25 minutes southeast of Raleigh. We love it here. What age are your kids? Mine are 6 & 8. One is at a private and the other at a public, but both good schools. The private school is year round, but my daughter is way far ahead of where my other one was at, at the same time. I'd recommend Clayton over Smithfield for sure. With that said, the area is blowing up so Smithfield will probably get a little better as time passes. Were looking at getting a house in either Clayton or Smithfield.
