TPB X thread

College football is dead.
It'll be interesting to see how this works. Are bowls sprinkled through the playoff as they are now? Do you select bowl games based on conference matchups? Do you avoid that all together and open up the total number of teams that qualify for a bowl game?

Top-4 have a bye, 11 games total including CFP, over the course of 4 weeks? Going to be a big change.

I don't buy this map at all. The fact you can so clearly see state lines is very suspect. Like why would every southernmost county in Nebraska report higher drinking levels than every northernmost county of Kansas? Why would the entire perimeter of Oklahoma report lower levels than all of its neighboring counties in other states?

This is an eyeroll. I listened to this live. The guy asks the question "if Scott Frost was black, would he still have a job here?" 99.9% of coaches would be fired with Scott's record. The only reason he's here is because of the Nebraska swamp. His white skin isn't saving him any more than Mike Riley's white skin saved him.

Saying that he's showing favoritism on the offensive line, I guess some people are taking that to mean he was implying racism on the part of the staff? But the only example he could name of a minority player who should have played and didn't was Rahmir - how was it racist that Rahmir didn't play? Considering the players who played in his position were Anthony Grant and Jaquez Yant.

No substance to this whatsoever except from people whose worldview requires them to see racism in anyone and anything vaguely conservative.

Do you have anything supporting this, or do you just enjoy vaguely accusing people of racism? I'm the last thing from a Frost supporter but this is ridiculous unless you have something to back it up.

Personally, I don't think he or any of our coaches are likely to be racists. Some of them were definitely into some alt-right shit though and their Twitter accounts and follows had to be scrubbed hard around the time BLM came about. It's definitely something that is used against our staff successfully in crootin tho.

Who is using this successfully against us in recruiting? Do we know of a single actual recruit who has chosen another school based on anything like this?

I don't doubt that it could happen, and I certainly don't doubt that Frost is a Republican, or that parts of his or his staff's social media might be disagreeable to people on the other side. It just seems like a vague accusation to me, one that is incredibly damaging to someone's reputation, and it's sad that some of us throw this disgusting accusation around so casually.

What accusation? You talking about what the radio guy said?
