We probably would have taken a little better care of them if we knew what they would be worth now. But back then you could pull cars like that out of a field or forgotten in a shed or garage. Looks like a Super Bee and Corbra Jet Tornio down the line there both worth a few bucks these days.

Agreed. I had a ‘72 Camaro for my first car that I paid $800 for. On the other hand my best friend paid $75 for his first car.😉

71 Cougar XR-7 Convertible bought for $1,200 was my first car. Nicknamed The Party Missile by my friends. Had a 351 Cleveland that rocked serious balls.
