Pickeral Lake Lodge.

I was offered heroin by this group there from Council Bluffs, most cliche shit I’ve ever heard.

How is that lodge? I never fished Pickerel when I was up there.

Then the owner of the lodge said “No, you don’t fish here, you get drunk here - drive straight to your sleeper and go to bed without ever getting on a road. If you want to catch fish go to the other lakes”.

Same here. I just go there to fish. Been to Waubay area a couple times and various spots along the river. Always looking for good lodges to stay at. There's a good one by Platte we stayed at last year. Forget the name but it was pretty new.
