I played with him. He was cocky, but while I was there when he came in (I was several years older than him), the only issues were that he displaced others on the depth chart - juniors and seniors don't like a hot shot frosh taking their playing time. T.O. knew he was a game-changing level athlete though, and he was right about that.
He did lose us that Cockeye State game his frosh yeat, but overall as a player you take TF 100 times out of 100 in the 90's college football game/style. Great player. Could cause some friction, but he also was a force to be reckoned with on the field. Definitely one of the best college players of the 90's in all of college football.
