On3 should be spammed with that.

The best part about Tommie was that he knew game, recognized game and respected that. Too many Lincoln stories to tell from that time.

I know Tommie's had a bit of a bumpy ride post football, but he'll always be the signal caller standard. We need about five Tommies on this team. Confident... No, downright cocky, and able to back it up.

A former classmate of mine played LB at ISU and said he just never shut up.....Constantly barking and coming back at you every play. Maddening for opposing players. We need some of that.
Damon Benning tells a story about when DB got the start against UCLAbia in 1993 and DB was not holding his own. Tommie ripped him and told TO he shouldn't be in the game. LP replaced him and went for 130 yards.

DB does not make it sound like Tommie is a dick, just a dude that took charge and held everyone to a high standard.

It’s the same in any profession.

You can be an asshole if you are great at what you do.

The biggest dick head Attorney I ever worked with was the rain maker at the firm so he got away with it. I worked at the firm for 4 years and he went through 3 secretaries. (doesn’t sound as bad as that is cuz just about every other partner at the firm has had the same secretary for decades)

My brother-in-law played with him at Nebraska. He said he was not well liked by his teammates either.
