I agree. I'm not saying 8 wins wouldn't be a successful season, I'm saying that wasn't considered "best case" preseason.

I was an 8-4 guy coming into the season and bet the season win overs for the first time in about 10 years.

The reason Friday pissed me off was that it was blown in the same maddening fashion as we've experienced for so long now. There were breakdowns Friday across every facet to the game that contributed to that. I can stomach a loss where you get beat by a better opponent or you limit mistakes. That wasn't what we watched Friday: they lost to an inferior opponent and completely shit the bed.

They can still get to 8 wins but what we saw Friday night is a 5 or 6 win team. They have a lot they need to fix.
