Tim Brewster speech with the Buffs. Kinda cringy

This whole Hype train is going to be fun to watch derail and explode...or I could be wrong and they have an undefeated season, win a natty, and prove all of us wrong...but....

I've never been motivated by yellers and screamers. In fact, just the opposite. I've done just fine in life.

To me, this is heavy, "my daddy was a military man and I never outgrew wanting his approval" energy. Not my issue, pal. Go yell at someone else so I can get some fucking work done.
To me this screams "I'm trying to stay steady with the "Coach Prime" label and this is the only way I know how to do it". No, it wouldn't work for me either if I was sitting there. In fact, my Freshman year of college baseball coach was like this to an extent. I transferred after the season.

I personally get motivated by people telling me I'm not able to do something or that it's not a good idea to try and pull something off.

I have nothing against Deion really, when he was at JSU I actually though it was pretty cool and respectable that someone who is already incredibly rich and famous would want to go into the grind of coaching at a small level and bring attention to HBCUs. But ever since he got hired by CU the hype train is so far off the rails and so cringy and corny and phony that I am gonna enjoy laughing at the whole thing from now on.

It all depends if it’s warranted. In this case it’s stupid, but if you fuck up multiple times an ass chewing could be in order.
