They should fire Frost today and let Chin run it the rest of the season. He’s making Frost look like a defensive minded coach.

This is what I would ask Frost to do if he wants to keep his job.
Fire Austin. Right now. Frank Verducci interim.
At the end of the year fire:
Lubick and Held and Verduzco
Keeping Beckton is fine I guess.
Hire: An OC, OL and whatever position the OC doesn’t coach (QB/WR). Hire a special teams coordinator.

I was weary of all the assistants Frost brought over but Chin was definitely the biggest red flag for me. Who would have thought in year 4 the D would be the only competent unit we put on the field

I think Lubick has been a big improvement over Frost at OC. Supposedly he called Purdue and Rutgers last year and has taken over this year. The play calling looked fine against OU and MSU. Unfortunately our line will fuck up and when they don’t Martinez doesn’t see the whole field. Helfrich was basically calling Martinez out all game last night for not seeing the field.

He fucking sucks. He does little to alleviate pressure. He calls 3rd and medium to 3rd and long concepts that they have to know have no chance of completing because the OL will not hold up that long.
"Hey, Let's run a Q Dart on 3rd and 4 to ice the game...knowing Michigan State is going to send some type of pressure...and Dart is not exactly great to begin with vs pressure, and especially with our shit fucking OL..
The whole offensive staff besides Beckton can get the fuck out of there.

I actually thought he did a fair job of using the tightends for once. How would you rank him against Frost? I know it isn’t saying much if he is better. I never saw any flow at all with Frost.

What kind of offense do you want us to go to here with a new coach. Also if we do make a move do you think it’s important a coach brings a DC who runs a 3-4 defense to fit our personnel so they transition is better or is that overrated? Honestly I would have no issue keeping Chinander, but I know most new coaches bring in their guys.

Chin & co are the only thing making the firing of Frost difficult at this point.
