The defensive staff..

What kind of offense do you want us to go to here with a new coach. Also if we do make a move do you think it’s important a coach brings a DC who runs a 3-4 defense to fit our personnel so they transition is better or is that overrated? Honestly I would have no issue keeping Chinander, but I know most new coaches bring in their guys.
I don't care what they run. I just want an offense that is going to have some sort of identity and able to run the ball regardless the front, and have an OL that is able to pick up pressures and give you more than 2.0 seconds of time. I prefer the spread because of the QB run factor. I think Chins is solid. The unit he's fielded has been fairly stellar this year. He still has a few head scratching moments...like staying in 2 high vs OU when they're trying to ice the game. But he had some really nice calls last night with some of his zero pressures that got home or affected throws.

I actually thought he did a fair job of using the tightends for once. How would you rank him against Frost? I know it isn’t saying much if he is better. I never saw any flow at all with Frost.
What was we doing again before we hired him?

The funniest thing I saw was Benhart got a 0 score for pass blocking on pff. I also think Martinez was pressured on half of his drop backs. Honestly I don’t know who could call plays with this offensive line. Either way it falls on Frost. He has had plenty of time to fix the issues but can’t. It’s time to move on.

They call plays like they’ve got a serviceable OL. They don’t help him out. At all. They were throwing Mesh on 3rd down several times. Which takes time. That we don’t have. I don’t know if I seen any sprint out game this year. Very little in in terms of fast screens. Basically. Anything you can do to as a play caller to help the OL out. They don’t do

Why do you think Frost went away from the bubble screens? It was a staple of his offense before this year.

Martinez can’t throw them accurately.
That was my thoughts because last year he would never lead the receiver. It seems like they are also limited with what they are getting from their qb. Martinez missed a lot of plays downfield last night too, but getting hit continually doesn’t help.

And then we throw. It’s a TE arrow screen off of a read. And now he’s keeping it on the triple, and when he looks to give it to the pitch. He has to throw some awkward pass the way it. It’s just weird. I bet they ran 3-4 zone triples where the TE was running an arrow in the pitch phase.

Never seen a qb miss so many wide open 7ft TEs in both not SEEING them open, or can't get it in the Damn zip code to complete a pass as I have seen with AM.

It is truly remarkable.
