I did depotestosterone injections for about a decade. I stopped when my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, as testosterone is cancer fuel (so is sugar, but that's a different discussion for a different thread). I grew hair in places I never had hair before, and did notice mood swings the first couple of days after receiving the injections. The plus sides were it made me "strong like bull", and it helped with overall muscle tone and other manly endeavors. Are you on it? What has your experience been with it? Sorry, what is a pellet? Are you on it? What has your experience been with it? I got pellets today, we will see how it goes
I second this. Been on it for about 3 years. Biggest change for me has been on the mental/mindset side. Less moody and more motivated now. Pair it with a weight lifting regimen and you’re golden. On it now and it will take some time to get everything balanced. You will learn that your estrogen levels will increase as well and give you sensitive nipples and might require to be on an estrogen blocker. Might also require to take baby aspirin or a vitamin E supplement to prevent blood clots. The main thing is to ensure regular bloodwork and catch something before it becomes an issue.
I thought the pellets were more for women. If you get on testosterone don’t you basically have to stay on it forever? Are you on it? What has your experience been with it? I got pellets today, we will see how it goes
Cardiologist friend said don't do it (bad for heart) and I actually listened.A friend of mine had a bad experience. Almost died after a heart attack...allegedly tied to his use of testosterone.
He doesn't like to talk about it because he's embarrassed. But also not one to share a lot.
He ended up suing and winning a sizable amount of $$ . But it's important to clarify that I don't know the specifics. i.e. did his provider have their heads up their ass?
It spooked me enough not to look into it further.
I have four or five buddies on it and all say it’s life changing. 3 on pellets and 2 do injectionsIs this a thing people are doing now?
