How did that happen? Just curious.

When Starter Jackets were all the rage in the 90's, one of them was my request for Xmas. This was shortly after the NFL expanded, and of course, the Carolina and Jacksonville jackets were the ones on clearance that year. I sported a Panthers jacket for the next two winters, but never became a fan.

On a side note, I responded to one of your posts with "Shoe," which is supposedly self-explanatory. Apologies to you if I used it wrong, because I still don't know for sure what it means.

My dad drove me out to CO for a Broncos game in 97 and they happened to be playing the Panthers. I thought the Panthers uniforms were much cooler so I decided I liked them better. Was a fan ever since haha

And, the elusive explanation for the self-explanatory reaction still confuses me. I guess I'll give you another shoe, which I hope is good.

My assumption about that reaction was it was like the Iraqi that threw a shoe at GWB years ago. You know, a protest reaction. Later, I thought I must be wrong. I still don't know. 🥿

I will put a nod in for the Blake Shelton/ Gwen Stefani offering as a decent attempt at self-depricating humor. Liked it better than most.....
