Stopped by RSS Today...

Realized I still had a subscription to RSS/On3 (saw my card was charged...ok, I got a sub to check it out) today. So, I decided to stop by and check the place out.

Bruh, that place is just flat out weird. it's like a weird second parallel Husker reality full of click bait articles. It's stocked full of Dean the Dream sycophants and mouth breathers.

In fairness, I did recognize a few of you over there TOTALLY classing the place UP a bit, but damn. They seem to have taken away or at least obscured the like systems and IDK...it's just a weird foreign planet over there now.

For those of you that are still there...what's good and who should I lean into?

Way too many dollar subscribers who are idiots and/or trolls on RSS. Robin does a good job covering basketball…as for the posters, they tend to drive me away. You can only tolerate so much nonsense.

Yeah it’s definitely something else over yonder. I used to spend a lot of time there but just check in on occasion anymore. When I do visit RSS my tolerance is about 10 minutes and then I have to leave and have a quick prayer of confession for all of the insulting thoughts that traveled through my mind while there.

On the contrary, this place just has a different feel. Still have the SVC and the HES extremes and we all give each other a ton of shit but for the most part it’s all done in fun and usually still with at least a tinge of respect.

It is also really irritating that the “like” system is so PC over there. Due to lack of options the default potato take is 🤣 but it just doesn’t come close to delivering the correct level of tardedness that’s usually deserved. One of the great things about tPB is there’s usually the perfect “like” for just about every scenario.

If you are familiar with the tv show The League:
Rafi and Dirty Randi = RSS
Pete, Kevin, and Ruxin = tPB
Taco = TBD
Andre = kong

And last but not least, RSS is mostly asses and assholes, but on tPB we get the occasional titties.

I think that’s why we get along better over here. I know that just because I’m always right, you (or whoever) are still fellow Husker fans who deserve respect. You don’t have to dislike someone just because they’re wrong, and you’re right. We get that over here.
