I might be ok with that but I haven't seen either one of those guys play yet.

Part of it is just the roles they're stepping into where there's an obvious need. It's pretty incredible the gap there's been at outside receiver outside of Stanley Morgan. 2018, (aside from Stanley) it was Mike Williams playing out of position (6th leading receiver) and walk-on Kade Warner (7th leading receiver). 2019, it was J.D. playing out of position outside, Andre Hunt raping his way out of the line up, Noa playing out of position outside (245 yards), Mike Williams out of position (~100 yards) and walk-on Kade Warner (~100 yards). This year obviously we had the parade of walk-ons. There's just an obvious production void there.

I'm not sure what we're losing in Mills. Dude obviously ran hard, but it just seemed like there were yards left on the field. He had 3 100 yard games in his entire career here. ~5 yards/carry for his career, but 33% of his career yards came in two games. You remove those two and he's at 185 carries+785 total yards+4.1 yards/carry for his career. Don't think run blocking was great at all, but if Stepp comes in and gives you only 60 yards on 12 carries, that's about Mills' expected replacement value. Obviously bunch of dudes have crashed and burned in similar wide open situations.
