I did not foresee Kolarevic being a nickel. Does he have the speed to be a nickel?

He's actually pretty fast, faster than Domann in the 40.

Yeah I thought I recall hearing his speed and quickness being in the great category. Like 4.55 40 time speed.

He is athletic and a good tackler. He has more actual playing experience than most as well.

Seems like a "get your best players on the field" move to me.

He is athletic and a good tackler. He has more actual playing experience than most as well.

Hes super athletic, but doesn't seem to be a natural in coverage like Domann was. So much of it is about instincts. I personally think he ends up 3rd behind Giff and Wright for the Nickel spot.

Seems like a guy who could be more of a big nickel against more run heavy teams/formations. I don't know that we're going to have a straight over Domann replacement and would bet it's more of a rotational position.

I kind of think so too. But I think Wright ends up being the heavy option. I really think either late this spring or in the fall we hear Kolarevic is back at MLB full time.
