We damn well better be 5-1 after those games, but of course we probably won’t be ☹️
Based on talent alone they should be 5-1. Based on the past 4 years they’ll be 2-4.
I see 3-3 or maybe 4-2 if things go well.Based on talent alone they should be 5-1. Based on the past 4 years they’ll be 2-4.
Looking at the schedule, we have our bye week on Oct 8. So with a bad start could very well end up with interim HC Erik Chinander leading us through the second half of the year.
if he wasnt the only coach since 1998 to actually compete against ranked teams, then he’d be fired. why would anyone want 8-4 with 4 blowout losses. Let the man learn and adapt. the fuckin guy has won everywhere. now allLol who fucking cares? I was so fucking excited about the frost hire 4 years ago, thought we finally got the one that would turn the corner.
Anyone with an ounce of sense knew his entire offensive position coaches were counterfeits 2 years ago.
He'll blow the hiring of replacements even worse.
If the guy didn't go 24-2 as a QB with half a ship here as player he'd have been shit canned halfway through the 2020 season
Cally, Bo, and Riley all had wins against ranked teams. Frost struggles to win against non-FCS teams. This hype about being 'close' because we score late to make games look close is dumb as fuck.if he wasnt the only coach since 1998 to actually compete against ranked teams, then he’d be fired. why would anyone want 8-4 with 4 blowout losses. of the sudden he cant coach. the fuck outta here with that
I heard it’s 6 wins.I have no clue... I think there is more to it than a win total though. I think that would be part of it, but I think there is other aspects.

Your argument would hold water if Frost could beat the middle of the pack and bottom feeder teams in the BIG but he can’t. Frost very likely could still get blown out this year and let’s not pretend Frost has had this competitive team during his whole tenure. It’s the first year under Frost of not seeing blow outs. There is a good chance we see some blowouts next year when the defense isn’t as good. No one is going to care how close the games were ten years from now when they look back at the 2021 season. They are going to see a 3-4 win season and another shitty team under Frost. Hopefully Frost figures out the offensive staff and they turn things around fast or he won’t see a sixth year.if he wasnt the only coach since 1998 to actually compete against ranked teams, then he’d be fired. why would anyone want 8-4 with 4 blowout losses. Has Frost beaten any ranked team? Riley beat no. 6 MSU in 2015 and no. 22 Oregon in 2016.if he wasnt the only coach since 1998 to actually compete against ranked teams, then he’d be fired. why would anyone want 8-4 with 4 blowout losses. If we had a chart of positive and negative under Frost what positive moments could a person come up with during his four years? I’m not counting moral victories either. Pretty much the only positive is the defense in 2021 and it was completely wasted by an inept offense and special teams.Has Frost beaten any ranked team? Bo won a bunch against ranked teams including #9 and #12 in 2011 and #7 in 2010. He also played for a couple conference titles.
Callahan had at least four wins against ranked teams (in fewer seasons). He also played for a conference title.
I won’t even address Frank who played for a national title and won a conference title….
How detached from reality can a person actually get?
