I am both rational and informed. I can also take other people's perspectives. Really if I had any weaknesses in political debate it would be that I try to hard to better my opponents as people."Rational informed discussion" part.
You lost me on that last sentence.I am both rational and informed. I can also take other people's perspectives. Really if I had any weaknesses in political debate it would be that I try to hard to better my opponents as people.
I'll try to explain complicated things to dullards, like yourself, that I know they'll never understand on the off chance it might help them not embarrass themselves in the future. It's not totally dissimilar to what you do to me when it comes to taxes. You lost me on that last sentence.
Thats fair. I think it was the to instead of the too that caused the disconnect. Or maybe the margaritas I drank.I'll try to explain complicated things to dullards, like yourself, that I know they'll never understand on the off chance it might help them not embarrass themselves in the future. Makes sense as a primary or secondary school educator to enjoy antagonizing a dude with a PhD in virology and immunology about all things related to viral transmission. Keep up the good work.I just like to go there to argue with that "doctor" about masks
Not sure what my profession has to do with anything, antagonize is a bit of a stretch, I said one thing not all things, and thanks.Makes sense as a primary or secondary school educator to enjoy antagonizing a dude with a PhD in virology and immunology about all things related to viral transmission. I would have gone the delittling of an Alex Berenson disciple route instead of going after the guy's (super super important, mind you) profession.Makes sense as a primary or secondary school educator to enjoy antagonizing a dude with a PhD in virology and immunology about all things related to viral transmission. He gets too caught up in technical details and not enough in actually explaining wtf he's talking about.Sometimes damcde loses me and I stop reading but I never skip his posts completely. He refers to studies and the issues with them. I'm not sure he could explain stuff any better than he does.
Sometimes but that's hard to do too. I mean it's really hard for me to dumb down my conversations enough to you guys so you understand. He gets too caught up in technical details and not enough in actually explaining wtf he's talking about.
Can you try that again but make it easier to understand?Sometimes but that's hard to do too. I mean it's really hard for me to dumb down my conversations enough to you guys so you understand.
Real hard make dumbCan you try that again but make it easier to understand?
A good indication that people should try as hard as they can to understand what he's saying or investigate further on their own. Some of the technical minutiae really can't be dumbed down, but that's on the scientists to find a way. Very few great researchers are also good teachers. Scientists write for scientists, not lay people. This leads to greater efficiency in discovery, but complete failures when science meets society in abrupt ways, such as pandemics. He gets too caught up in technical details and not enough in actually explaining wtf he's talking about.

Fuck welcome to my life. I tried to have a staff meeting and I felt like I was talking to a bunch of 4th graders.Sometimes but that's hard to do too. I mean it's really hard for me to dumb down my conversations enough to you guys so you understand.
Can you try that again but make it easier to understand?
Arguably, distinction without a difference. Goal is the same, just different means of achieving it. Unfortunately, works way too well on too many.Sometimes I forget who promotes Alex Berenson vs Dan Bongino. Also, is delittling a real word that spell check doesn't know yet?
