Respect your opinion, but I’m %100 out because of the most important feature for a decent B1G team to have is a soul. This team has been empty from the start.

I think that’s fair. I’ve always said you can tell after 3ish years.

Rhule has been one of the harder ones to evaluate, imo.

One would think, and hope. But with “pay for play” mentality, along with the overall pussification of the world, it’s a real battle! Cockeye get’s it done with kids that thought Okoboji was like Disneyland, and will hit you in the mouth for talking shit. We only have a few guys like that on this team. Culture to me means “One”. Look at Cockeye…..”One”. Cockeye show’s their “Soul” when they keep pressing their boot on the necks of everyone dressed in RED! They started the game with the “Soul Gauge” at about 1/8the of a tank. The warning light was on already at halftime. They were running on fumes 1/3 way into the third. Empty. Weekly.Monthly.Yearly.Empty. (lol I’m really not a dark person….lol)

We have no identity and it isn't clear, at least on offense, what we are even trying to do. We don't do any one thing well that we can rely on against teams with a pulse.

Not having your “Leaders” be entitled, school changin’, country clubbin’, Carlton types with trainers, personal coaches, and stars. The Osborne model worked. It’s foundation was built on kids that if they lived in Cockeye, would think Okoboji is Disneyland. He got lucky with a few Local skill guys, but they excelled when the skill came from everywhere, and the goons were local. Bled solid RED! Tommie, LP,Rozier,Sue,etc. All fighters. I know the knee jerk reaction after another ass kicking is to flush the whole lot. I get it. I just don’t agree with it.

Problem is what’s Rhule gonna do? Say he takes the route most on here want to take and shit cans both coordinators, OL coach, RB coach and maybe LB coach. Is ‘26 his one year audition with a transfer and underclassman heavy roster? Does he get two if he wins 7 again next year?

I tend to think investing in the roster will pay higher dividends next season than revamping the coaching staff.
