Local grocery store had a half priced brisket. Got a 3 pound brisket for 25 bucks which is basically given it away at that point. Made some homemade potato salad and plan on washing it all down with some Coors original that I bought in March.

Not much. They’ve had a handful of ones closer to 10 pounds at the store but they get snatched up pretty fast. I figured I’d at least give it a shot when I found one marked down.

Costco is the shit for meat. Usually pick up an 8-12# there.

Mandatory 14 day quarantine with my school district if I leave the district. Now to be fair where I live has about 30 thousand people and it’s healthcare is third world-esque. Not uncommon for a lot of homes in the villages to not have running water. I actually don’t either but I have a 600 gallon tank that gets refilled every week.

Just drove from Lincoln to DFW. Got home and two G&Ts. But what’s special is that I had The Good Life gin from Loop City Distillery (in Loop City NE). It’s good stuff and I’m a gin snob. Bought 3x bottles at Nst Liquor. Nice!
