IIRC, we did the same thing with Lamar Jackson. He was a top rated safety that we converted to a CB.

I think he's still a little green and hasn't played a whole lot of snaps. He's obviously played behind 1st/2nd round guys thus far, but from what I've seen he was in a dog fight for his spot on two deep with some younger players (again, at least one of those dudes is a probable first rounder--hard to be OSU).

Ideal scenario is we got a guy in the portal who can come in and be another shutdown corner opposite CTB. Doesn't look like we'll necessarily get that guy, but this is about as good as you could possibly hope for as a guy who comes in to fill depth from transfers and hopefully live up to his ranking w/ Fisher's development.
