I'm in Tuscaloosa for my daughter's graduation from the University of Alabama. Was at Dreamland BBQ eating some dam tasty ribs and the table next to me was some of the Bama Coaches and Recruiting Staff, but no Saban. Couldn't help but ease drop a little. They were mainly talking about recruiting and how they wanted to input recruits into their software program. I think they called the software program Meta.

Some of the coaches were telling stories about recruiting. And they were pretty dam boring stories. Was hoping there would be one about a McDonalds Bag full of cash. Best story was they took a couple highly sought after recruits to Lakeside Restaurant and a big ole gnarly rat ran right by their table. He ended the story with "and we never went back to that restaurant".

Was impressive to see how detailed they were with their support staff. Cracking the whip on the staff to do everything the same.

I assume Alabamas recruiting support staff is 50+ employees

The Meta verse?

It is what Mark Zuck is adding to facebooks business

I wonder if that is what they were talking about. Was cool to hear their conversations, nothing insider or earth shattering. Just came across as well thought out and very organized. The coach that appeared to be leading things had a good command of the group and had their attention. It was obvious they had been in meetings earlier in the day and he was just going over some of the major talking points during lunch. They went to town on some food
