Hey guys,

Sean Callahan reached out to me so I figured I should post this. He also posted on RSS that the Ireland game is still on and he has no idea where the rumors started.

Sean told me higher ups at UNL reached out to him and asked where the rumors started. It sounds like the Twitter accounts posting that the game is being moved to Vegas got their info here.

Sean is adamant that he spoke as high up as possible and the game is still on. I do know for a fact that our info was also solid. I have no clue where the game will be played, but RSS thinks it pretty solidly still going to be in Ireland.

I never post anything unless I trust the person it is coming from. The Insideher who told me about Vegas has never been wrong before and is someone I trust. We were not spreading false rumors, and I still stand by what he told me. Someone in the athletic department mentioned the game may move to Vegas.

It’s funny how hard he has been shilling for this game; they have to be his biggest sponsor. It’s offensive that I would take travel advice from a rube who probably takes his wife to Tanner’s on special occasions

I love how Callahan's default retort is "it's a signed contract." He won't acknowledge how much better of an idea it is to play stateside at a neutral location that fans would be excited about and actually go to.

I was told earlier today there’s definitely legs to moving the game. I guess part of it is moving it to a big stadium in the US because they know Nebraska will travel, well giving them home field advantage. They want a win and are willing to do what they gotta do to give themselves the best chance to do that.

Problem is they don’t have a great excuse to move it. Covid is a tough sell now. Ukraine/Russia? Honestly I think it’s pathetic. You made a commitment, honor your commitment you pussies.

Also, the Dean and Sipple’s of the Nebraska media world can suck my ass. They know who’s paying them. They’re basically the CNN of Nebraska media.
