Did his teams at Temple and Baylor get significantly better after his 2nd and 3rd year at those schools before he left?

He’s certainly had success with smaller organizations. In the BIG 12 he never beat a team that was ranked with Baylor. That’s concerning when he’s stepping into a more physical conference. I guess I’ll show myself out so everyone can circle jerk.

My point is that he took schools that were in bad to terrible condition and grew them into much more pretty quickly. Take away his first year at each school and look at what he did. Just research a little deeper.
