I was one of the posters bitching about LL being the favorite to be hired. If Turd had gone with a cheaper hire I would have been pissed and expressed it. LL being the favorite is what we were hearing from some of the big boosters, who were not happy about it. It wasn't until that big boosters battle that it went from a Leipold level hire to Turd have the go ahead to spend for an A List Hire. Once again thankful for some of our generous boosters who stepped up. And also remember there are eyes on this board from boosters and the NS. So us complaining about a B or C List hire was noted. That was even brought up at the meeting as they literally mentioned Husker Boards and Twitter having seriously negative reactions to mention of LL, Mendenhal/Monken.
