At this point why is Corcoran still taking up a spot on the 105? He's been injured or out more than available with the added benefit being that when he is available he sucked.

The spring portal is bound to have an OL that would be more useful in that roster spot.

I've heard every story imaginable about him. The journey started at the peak and has been downhill ever since.

Best OL recruit in a long time.
Freshman ready to make a spot his.
Starter, got abused then injured.
He'd be better at guard.
He could be out next center.
Starter again, abused again, injured again.
He could be a good depth piece.
Injured and out for spring.

It is past time we hit the button that activates the hidden trap door below his chair.

I remember the day he committed, I was so happy we beat out OU for him.

First, teams don’t need to make any tough decisions until fall camp, so there’s no reason to cut anyone right now.

Second, there might be a better option available, but that’s not guaranteed. We saw how competitive the OL transfer portal was and how overpaid some of those players ended up being.

Third, and this might be a tough pill to swallow, there aren’t many players with his potential. I know, I know, he’s a sixth-year senior, but he’s a Nate Gates type—the kind of guy everyone shit on in college, only for him to go on and have an eight-year NFL career. His NIL cost is probably minimal, so the upside of keeping him for another year is worth it.

What about Teddy P?
Fifth year senior.

It seems like both he and Corcoran have had a rough go of it due to injury, so I kind of put them in the same bucket mentally. But it turns out they are no where close. Career starts:

Prochazka: 11 (19 total GP in four years)
Corcoran: 35 (39 GP in five years)

It's amazing how unavailable Teddy has been.
