The program is cratered already. I think....per usual...nebraska fans were hoping for a career backup to come in and help us out of the crater. We dug this shit hole and its only gotten deeper over the last decade. No one single player is going to catapult us out of this mess. Hoping that a built up OL/DL is a start. Were a long ways from that too.So apparently there are “no better options” left? Damn. Wild to think a career backup who played Nebraska like a fiddle is now the guy who will crater the entire program. Really makes you think…

I don’t think that’s a positive spin; I think that’s being a realist. To definitively say that Minchey is better than whoever we land is disingenuous and deep down I think you know that, I think.

Just can’t imagine throwing our hands up and saying “it’s all fucked - time to hope DJ Lagway’s shoulder is healthy”. Someone from that group will be good and we can grab the kid from WCU as a third quarterback and all of a sudden there’s some competition happening

I've wondered about Deuce Knight as well. I can't imagine he wants to go to Ole Miss now that Chambliss can return.

Apparently there’s speculation that Bryce Baker out of UNC is headed to VaTech. I have zero info on this, but maybe this allows us to kick the tires on Grunkemeyer.
I’m with you Sea, I think there’s still some decent names out there that we should be vetting, other than what’s been mentioned and reported.
Or worse, he gives us the finger, goes to Northwestern and Chip Kelly turns him into an all conference qb.
