If you break down his resume, he played at Nebraska and was also a college quarterback at Nebraska.
It really doesn't have anything to do with him having played at Nebraska. I think he gets what it takes to win at the highest level, being at LSU when he was there. They say that your HC should be your best recruiter - Mickey is an outstanding recruiter. I loved his comments about his WR room and how he will handle competition. I think he gets it and would be able to put together a really good staff.

Meant to bring this up earlier, but Dae'Vonn was wearing a Cockeye shirt at church this past Sunday.

I said something to him about how I don't like the looks of that Cockeye shirt. His mom laughed and he kind of played one of those "Ehhhh....I don't know...."

2023 CB for a lineman named Van Poppel

Argyle is a pretty elite athletic program in Texas.

Offers from Michigan, Florida St, Purdue, TCU, Texas Tech, Washington among others.

His dad is Todd Van Poppel....former MLB pitcher.

I like on his highlight there's some film of him catching passes. Pretty athletic kid for his size.

I think both @Bootleg11 and @MtnHusker said there's a better chance of us becoming BFFs than that kid ending up in Lincoln
Info I got is from the Kansas football coaches. They have recruited him hard but know they are out of it. His dad played at KSU and he is a big fan of the Sooners. We are currently on the outside looking in on those 2 programs as they have a big lead but maybe we can close the gap with an eye opening visit this weekend.
