Academics were a concern with Morton as a recruit and sounds like they still might be. Was a top 100 player at one point. 4 years to play 3.

"Morton, who was part of the 2020 class, held more than 30 offers as a high school recruit and was committed to Alabama at one time. Georgia Tech was an option as well, but Morton never took official visits in the winter of 2020 and went unsigned".

Upcoming visits to USC and FAU. Had 1730 yards and 18 touchdowns for New Mexico Military last year. Played special teams for Florida State with nine tackles and 247 yards on 11 kickoff returns.

"Grant was originally part of the 2018 class. He played for Florida State in 2018, redshirted in 2019. Transferred in 2020 and played for New Mexico Military Institute in 2021. The running back would have two more seasons of eligibility."

Grant is every bit as good of a back as Mills was when he was coming out of juco.

Must be expecting quite a bit of attrition if they're taking DJ and bringing in a Juco guy for a visit.
I think they are still trying to backfill for the 2020 class, they lost S Gray and Francios, CB Delancey and now CB Joesph. They gained CB Johnson, CB Hill, S Singleton, and have room for one more transfer/juco. The same with RB, they lost 2 RBs Morrison and Scott and gained RB Jackson with one more transfer/juco. They have lost 9 high school recruits so far from the 2020 class 2-S, 2-CB, 2-RB, 1-WR, 1-OLB, 1-WDE.
