“New look is definitely good for sure,” Coleman told 247Sports regarding his official. “Amazing coaching staff and just really good down to earth people.”


Coleman is one of the fastest, most explosive players in the country boasting 10.4 speed in the 100m dash. Brewster wants to work with him and new offensive coordinator Sean Lewis wants to utilize him as a mismatch.

“They showed me how they are gonna use me in their new explosive offense and how they want to develop me on and off the field,” Coleman said.

As Coleman alluded to, the pitch to play at Colorado was more than just football.

“They know I’m a person that doesn’t want to be known just for football but as a person of very-high character off the field and they very much appreciated that,” Coleman explained.

Sounds like Coleman could see himself playing for Sanders, Brewster and company.

“They're both are gonna take care of me,” Coleman said. “I know that. They know that. My parents know that.”

Coleman took an official visit to Nebraska last weekend and does not have a decision date set.
“I’m talking with my family about my date, but (Colorado) they’re definitely up there.”
 
Note what Malachi Coleman said in his 247 interview which is near the end of the article. CU is clearly trying to get him to give up on a February commitment date and commit next week so Nebraska can't continue to recruit him.

If this kid needs so much “taking care of” and “wanting” to be a kid of high character off the field too…do not want.
I’m no psych-analyst but there are red flags to me all over these comments…
