Recruiting thread - race to signing day

Didn’t he get beat out by that Akron transfer we almost took last year?
Says he was a 3 year starter but he's been hurt, I don't know much about him https://twitter.com/TalkHuskers originally made a post about him but deleted it.

Georgia Tech QB Jeff Sims to enter the portal

A three-year starter Sims started the Yellow Jackets first seven games this season but suffered an injury against Virginia (Oct. 20) and did not return to the game. Sims did not appear in the Yellow Jackets loss at Miami (Nov. 12) despite being medically cleared to play.
Georgia Tech lost to Miami 35-14 and Sims has decided to move on.
The former four-star recruit out of Sandalwood (Jacksonville, Fla.) chose Georgia Tech over offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Maryland, Penn State and Virginia Tech.
Sims has battled injuries during his three seasons in Atlanta. Georgia Tech has a new athletic director who fired head coach Geoff Collins seemingly minutes after he was introduced as the new head of the GT athletic department.
Sims has two years of eligibility remaining, including the ‘COVID season’ and should garner significant attention in the transfer portal.
