Recruiting thread - race to signing day

Maaaan, I remember convincing myself that Conn and Lynn were great takes because we could develop them

They have some misses so DT too

OL and DT need some processing.

TE possibly as well. Who knows about Fidone but Hickman, Rollins, and Carnie all played behind a walk on this season.

At DB you have Johnson, Lynum, NPG, and maybe even Clark who probably all need to go.

NPG has been such a disappointment. I remember fans being so worried he would transfer a couple years ago

OL and DT need some processing.

TE possibly as well. Who knows about Fidone but Hickman, Rollins, and Carnie all played behind a walk on this season.

At DB you have Johnson, Lynum, NPG, and maybe even Clark who probably all need to go.
I actually think Rollins did ok when he played. Which granted wasn't much.

Hopefully the new staff can develop some of these linemen plus hopefully we can get some quality in the JUCO, portal, and high school ranks.

Do we need a separate "white walk on from western Nebraska" thread, or just fold it into this one?

On a parallel note, it will be interesting to see how Rhule embraces the walk-on concept here at DONU.

He could probably cut down the roster pretty significantly from where Frost grew it - the number of walk ons who contribute in this era does not remotely justify keeping a sizeable number around.
