Recent Nebraska portal follows

Not that it matters since he’s likely USC bound, but looks like we’ve had contact with Bear Alexander.

Our head coach’s recent “screw the portal i cant wait to coach my guys” comments should really help us out with portal recruits.

3D chess by Rhule im assuming as he can do no wrong
Yup, it certainly hurt us in the first portal session. Smh Rhule. #bringbackfrost

New follow for Hales. 3 year starter at RT for FIU. Some G5 offers so far, biggest one from Houston where it looks like he recently took a visit.

I just don't think they are looking for a one and done and won't unless there is an injury or two tomorrow. They seem to be looking for better roster distribution and guys they can develop out of the portal. Rhule said he felt like Nebraska right now was where Baylor and Temple were in year two. He is more focused on building a long-term foundation for success instead of getting 1-2 more wins next year. I think he believes he already will do well enough next year that people won't be pissed.

I agree that the spring portal trend so far seems to be guys with more eligibility left that they can develop, but it wouldn’t surprise me either if, given the low numbers and lack of overall talent at OT especially, they saw a need to bring in someone that provide more immediate impact.
