Thie profile of these guys says a lot about what we want in the portal

OL - we are looking for IOLs, not OTs, with 3-4 years of eligibility left. This fits in with the ideas posted on one of the local sites that the staff feels we desperately need guys with guard bodies in the younger classes. So, we are looking for roster distribution, not immediate PT. Unlikely we could score a good, experienced OT in any event - any guy we'd get might not be much better than one of our young OTs.

WR - 2-3 year profile - again, probably roster distribution so we don't have mostly 23-24s after next season is over

TE - supposedly this guy is one of the best pass catching TEs to enter the portal in the last couple of years. Probably because he is an excellent fit we'd want no matter what

LB - more experienced guys with 1-2 more years left - likely they think we need help now at this position

DL - two year starter at CU, immediate help like LB that will be around after Wynn graduates

We generally do not seem to have interest in one and done guys

If you get young guys who are talented this way, they can't transfer out in two years.

Also Jurriente Davis, the LB from Jackson State, has recently followed Knighton, Dvoracek, Nebraska FB recruiting, Hales, and Callaghan. He seems to follow back a lot of coach/recruiting accounts from other schools so it could be nothing, but it could signal some reciprocal interest.
