Just feels like night and day difference in the direction each sport is headed. I'm a pretty big fan of this kid. Rocket of an arm and recently ran a 4.50 shuttle in Dallas. I'm not saying that he is an elite prospect, but I'd be surprised if he finished ranked where he is at right now. I'd say he is a 5.7 star on Rivals, or an 88 on 247. He has tools to be great.

Keep stock piling the raw 6'6 QBs with a strong arm and hope we hit on one of them. That seems to be the play. Nothing wrong with that, but with his measurables and the underwhelming 5.5 rating, it makes you wonder what we are missing. It's not like our coaching staff has a track record of diamond in the rough development thus far.

This commit was wanted by the people paid to make the decisions. If they want him it’s their job on the line if they are wrong. They believe they aren’t wrong. I don’t have a crystal ball but am happy for the kid and look forward to seeing how well he does. Hope this helps amigo.

Well said! This is my approach as well. The football program was shitty was Frost arrived and has stayed shitty during his tenure thus far. Until I start seeing players pan out and play get better and cleaner I am going to assume the play and players will stay shitty.

Clear from his highlights that he has maybe the worst supporting cast you'll ever see from a HS football team and an absolutely massive arm. Not coming in as a finished product by any means, but that also means a lot of room to grow. Lot of similarities to Haarberg IMO.
